OUTLINE OF EVENT 

Goosechase science challenge!

The house teams will be provided with ipads with the Goosechase app to help complete and record the challenges appropriate for different grades starting in level 8 labs. Each challenge is allocated points. The timer starts and they have 40 minutes to complete as many challenges as possible before relinquishing their ipads!

The 4 House teams will consist of seven students (1 from each grade). These scientific challenges include ones which are creative and dramatic, practical-based, require problem-solving skills and ones that, of course, test your knowledge of the concepts and phenomena in the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics!

RULES & TIMING

Teams will have 40 minutes to complete as many challenges as possible. 

Teams can only use the ipads and scientific equipment they are provided with. 

SCORING 

Each task is preassigned a points total on the Goosechase app. Teams will be awarded points for how accurately they solve or complete each challenge. 

Scores for all challenges will be added together to create a final score total. House with the highest combined points total wins.
